Lake Charles Public WorksOur team is excited to be a part of the design team for a new Public Works Facility for the City of Lake Charles. Phase one of the project includes a new administration building, parking, and site infrastructure/development. Services we are providing include: civil and structural engineering design and consulting; site grading and drainage design; concrete foundations with drilled shafts; hydraulic modeling and design, including detention and outfall; and assisting the architect with construction inspection and administration. The architect for this project is Brossett Architect LLC.

Cougar StadiumCougar Stadium, located on 1st Avenue in Lake Charles, is being rebuilt as part of a bond proposition to fund new construction and upgrades at 12 Ward 3 Recreation sites. Plans for the stadium include adding turf to the football field, a new track, new bleachers and a new lighting system; the bathrooms, concessions, and ticket booths will also be renovated. The PES team is providing engineering and design services for the press box support structure and foundations, south wall framing and foundations, and paving and drainage. The architect for this project is VSG Architects.

Power Centre Parkway Sidewalks
The newly-completed Power Centre Parkway Sidewalk connects 5th Avenue to Highway 14 and includes a state-of-the-art crossing signal, allowing 5th Avenue residents to safely access shopping, schools, and recreation facilities. Our team provided engineering design, project management and coordination, and construction administration services on this project.

Industrial Trench ExtensionOur team provided design and consulting services on a planned trench extension inside an industrial facility. The effort included field work using the FARO Focus +150 laser scanner to document existing conditions. Once conditions were documented, we were able to use the data collected to show our client potential trench extension options inside the 3D scans.
